The Republican presidential candidate has time and again expressed his support towards crypto assets. At the same time, he has been critical of President Joe Biden for being ignorant towards crypto.
In a recent event hosted at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Trump claimed that Biden was blank as a slate when it came to crypto. In fact, he did not shy away from mimicking his Democratic challenger.
The current administration has been hostile towards crypto. They’ve been treading on the ‘regulation by enforcement path.’ Several from the space, including Messari’s Ryan Selkis and the O Show’s Wendy O, have contended that the crypto innovation will get choked completely if Biden is re-elected.
Trump, on the other hand, has also assured that his government will stop crypto-centric companies from fleeing out of the country. Parallelly, he is also looking to foster Bitcoin mining in the country.
Trump and Biden are set to face each other on the debate stage later this week, hosted by CNN.
