The ZKsync [ZK] token officially went live a few hours back. ZK has been listed on several prominent exchanges, including Binance. At press time, it was priced around $0.2403, boasting of an $894 million market cap.

The token has already cemented a position for itself in the top-100 list. Its fully diluted value [FDV] was seen hovering around $5.1 billion at the time of writing.

Binance listed the token earlier today. It launched ZK trading pairs against Tether [USDT], Bitcoin [BTC], and First Digital USD [FDUSD].

The exchange also announced its own airdrop with the intention of bestowing users with tokens who were dropped out from the the official airdrop.

According to the official announcement, the exchange is set to offer 10.5 million ZK tokens to around 52,000 Binance users. This is being done in “light of the ongoing concerns from the community around ZK token distribution.”

According to the pre-requisites, eligible claim addresses ought to have undertaken at least 50 transactions on zkSync Era between February 2023 and March 2024, and should have initiated transactions in at least seven different months in that period.

CEXes, contract addresses, and bridges do not qualify. Alongside, addresses that were eligible for the official airdrop are not qualified for the Binance airdrop of the ZK token. Each Binance user is, however, entitled to only 200 ZK each.

ZKsync unveiled its airdrop details earlier this week. Even though more than 66% had been allocated to the community, the project received criticism from several stalwarts from the community over ineligibility and Sybils.

The team clarified that they had used “explicit” Sybil detection measures alongside a “unique airdrop design” to make sure the highest number of organic users were rewarded. However, the team agreed that some Sybil wallets ended up getting through and asserted that “there will be Sybils in every airdrop.”

In less than two hours, more than 45% of the airdropped ZK token supply had already been claimed by over 225,000 addresses.
