OKX, the third largest crypto exchange in terms of volume, has earlier today unveiled an engaging new venture that taps into the world of Telegram mini-apps.
Dubbed "OKX Racer," this mini-app merges the world of gaming with financial forecasting, offering users a novel way to engage with the volatility involved in Bitcoin price.
This free-to-play game is accessible through Telegram, a messaging platform with nearly 900 million users, which has recently become a hotbed for simple yet addictive tap-to-earn games.
Unlike conventional crypto platforms, OKX Racer introduces a gameplay element where participants predict Bitcoin price movements in rapid five-second bursts.
According to the announcement, the mechanics of OKX Racer are straightforward yet compelling.
Players are presented with two choices—predict whether Bitcoin's price will rise ("moon") or fall ("doom") within the next interval.
OKX explained in the announcement: “The game is simple, with players offered a simple choice - will the price of Bitcoin 'moon' in the next five seconds?
“Or will the next five seconds spell 'doom' for Bitcoin's price?
“Successful guesses earn players points, and consecutive wins give lucky players multipliers that supercharge their points.”
Furthermore, beyond just playing, the announcement revealed that users can also earn referral rewards and spend their points on various in-game enhancements, making the experience both rewarding and engaging.
