Well, it’s been a chaotic few weeks since the last Emiri Diary.
Everyone’s been telling me it's because of some over-levered chaps in Japan. Some carry trade? I’m not going to act like I know what a carry trade is or what happened in the market. I trade shitcoins and imaginary internet money all day. But fuck the guys who nuked us.
Anyway, the market seems to be showing signs of life again, so there’s no better time to hop back in and start looking for some under-the-radar prospects.
So allow me to share some earlier-than-early projects with you, and then you decide if their worth your while or not.

Let’s get started with a Monad project.
I know Monad is a while away, but it’s better to have some of the good projects on your radar beforehand.
Now, there isn’t a whole lot of information released about the project as yet. According to their bio, they are a social media betting platform which already sounds pretty interesting when you consider what all the popular projects have been so far this cycle.
The reason I’m putting this on your radar is because it is followed by some accounts that I think are pretty smart, so maybe they know something I don’t.
They currently have a close alpha running, which you can apply for, so get yourself in and see what you think.

I’m surprised more people don’t have this on their radar already, but this is a product by Sushi Labs. The guys that manage SushiSwap.
We all know Raydium is god-awful. For the volume done on Solana, we surely can do better than Raydium. Who else is better equipped than the SushiSwap guys? (Maybe the Uniswap team, but that’s less provocative).
I know Maki is not on the team anymore, but they still have world-class devs.
Their demo video looks pretty good, so I’m personally excited to use it and hopefull they’ll give us a nice airdrop.

From what I can tell, it is an on-chain social game that utilizes game theory and allows you to bet on your beliefs. Sounds like a lot of mumbo jumbo, but I like the idea of a social game.
I like it even more because it’s on Berachain. I know there’s a slightly sour taste in some mouths based on how much Berachain has delayed, but good things come to those who wait - and a social game in a PoL environment could be pretty interesting.
Worth having on the watchlist.

Heiko is an Ethereum L2. I know, ANOTHER FUCKING L2.
Look, don’t hate the player; hate the game. I spotted this, and it’s an interesting opportunity.
It’s an L2 built using the OP stack and EigenLayer with just over 500 followers. All they have released so far is a litepaper which means there’s still time to be early to the community and get some early alpha.
Get to know the major ecosystem players before everyone else.
They make similar claims, promising 100k TPS, cheap fees, sub-second finality, etc. But what’s most important is that if these guys turn out to be very serious, you could be on for a massive win here.
Worth keeping tabs on.

This is more of a chill one. It’s a simple racing game with your mouse which is kinda fun.
You can earn ETH while playing it, which is pretty cool. You can also participate in different kinds of tournaments and derbies, play on different maps, and try to get on the leaderboard.
It’s a good thing to do on the side in a choppy range-bound market.
